TRINITY BUOY WHARF

TRINITY BUOY WHARF IS A THRIVING CENTRE FOR THE ARTS AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES IN THE HEART OF LONDON'S DOCKLANDS.

It is home to artists' studios in reclaimed shipping containers, the iconic Artangel installation Longplayer by Jem Finer, Trinity Buoy Wharf Lighthouse, and one of London's smallest museums documenting the life and work of Michael Faraday.

We worked alongside Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust, which manages and adminsters the site, to create a unique Kids' Guide to help young people explore the wharf and all it has to offer.

Our 12-page illustrated booklet is available at the entrance to the site and proved to be a popular activity over the summer half-term break.  Not only did our free booklet bring a significant increase in visitor attentence over the summer, but it will also be available on an ongoing basis.

The interactive nature of the booklet design allows space for children to document their personal experiences of visiting Trinity Buoy Wharf.  Our aim was to open up a view that fosters imaginative learning, giving young people an interesting way to delve a bit deeper into the meanings of their surroundings.
