THE FREUD MUSEUM LONDON

‘Make a note of anything..’, is a site-specific installation, in the form of a photographic frieze, by artist Bettina von Zwehl.  

White Wall Yellow Door devised and produced a range of activities to help children engage with this permanent installation, which drew its inspiration from the life and work of Anna Freud.

Alongside an activity sheet that engages with some of the themes von Zwehl explores in her work, is a more practical task, designed to gain momentum in the months to come.  This task asks young visitors, in accordance with Anna Freud’s methodological approach to her practice, to record their own observations during their visit to the museum.

The cards will be kept in a special filing drawer in the Anna Freud room, and once enough observations have been collated, will form the basis of a new installation.
